The application surface should be strong, dry, bearing, dust-free and clean, as well as leveled. All the residues such as oil, grease, rust and paraffin reducing adherence as well as the loose parts should be removed. Rough surfaces on which the application will be carried out should be repaired using repair mortars eileTH 60 or eileTH 70. If the application surface or ambient temperature is above +25°C, the application surface should be moisturized and should be left to dry up until there is no uncontrolled water on the surface.
A clean mixing bowl is filled with the necessary amount of water by means of a scale. POMEX RAPID HARDENING CERAMIC ADHESIVE is slowly added into. A homogeneous mixture is prepared by mixing it with a low speed mixer for 3-5 minutes. The mixture waits for 3 minutes for maturation before being mixed for another 20-30 seconds.

The prepared eile POMAX RAPID HARDENING CERAMIC ADHESIVE is applied on the surface as thick as 1 mm using the flat side of the steel trowel. It should be applied unidirectional until the thickness is uniform using the notched side of the trowel which has been selected in line with the size of the coating material. In order to enable good adhesion, the coating material must completely touch the adhesive mortar by being pressed down by a rubber hammer. The application is finished after leaving the recommended grout gaps for the ceramic or tile size. The gaps should be filled with eile POMEX Joint Gap Sealants. The grout applications should be carried out after 6 hours.
- For POMEX RAPID HARDENING CERAMIC ADHESIVE application, if the ambient temperature is below +5°C or above +35°C, the suitable conditions should be met. Extremely hot, rainy or windy weather is not suitable for application.
- The proper moisture level is required to enhance the performance of the adhesive mortar.
- The ceramics with high water absorbency rate should be saturated with water before the application.
- The POMEX RAPID HARDENING CERAMIC ADHESIVE mixture starting to dry should not be mixed with water or new materials.
- Very porous surfaces should be primed with eile PRIMER E before ceramic application.
- Impermeable and bright surfaces such as exposed concrete should be primed with eile TU 05 or eile TU O6 before the application.
- The grout gaps larger than 6 mm should be filled with pomex rustic joint sealant.
