eile POMAX 28

areas of usage
- It is used for adhering coating materials such as ceramics, natural stone, porcelain ceramics, decorative bricks on walls and floors, concrete, plaster or screed in interior and exterior spaces.
- It is used in places with heavy pedestrian and freight traffic such as shopping malls, schools and hospitals.
- In exterior wall applications, the maximum size of the coating material that can be applied up to 15 m in height should be 60x60 cm, and the maximum size of the coating material that can be applied in heights between 15 m and 30 m should be 40x40 cm.
features of product
- It has excellent adhesion properties,
- It has a long working time.
- It is flexible.
- It is resistant to surface tension caused by sudden temperature changes.
- It has high stability.
Care should be taken to ensure that the application surface is solid, dry, supporting, dust-free and clean, as well as level. The surface must be thoroughly cleaned from any oil, grease, rust and paraffin residues that will reduce adherence. There should be no loose particles on the surface. Imperfections on the application surface should be corrected with eile TH 60 or eile TH 70 repair mortars. If the application surface or ambient temperature is above +25°C; The application surface should be wetted and waited until there is no free water left on the surface.
Component B is placed in the clean mixture bucket. Component A, which is in powder form, should be slowly added to component B, which is in liquid form, and mixed with a low-speed mixer for approximately 3-5 minutes to ensure a homogeneous appearance. The prepared mortar should be left to rest for 5 minutes to mature, then mixed again for 1-2 minutes before application.
Karışım Oranı: 25 kg component A -- 10 kg component B
Eile POMAX 28 adhesive mortar, which is ready for application, should be applied to the application surface with a thickness of 1 mm with the flat part of the trowel. It should be pulled in one direction with the toothed side of the trowel selected in accordance with the size of the coating material to obtain a uniform thickness. To ensure good adhesion, force should be applied to the coating material with the help of a rubber hammer to ensure that it completely contacts the adhesive mortar. The bonding process of large-sized coating materials should be in a horizontal direction and the next row should not be moved before the finished row has gained its initial strength. When applying on facades without window details, expansion joints should be left at every 4-5 meters and eile Polyurethane mastic should be used.
- In the application of eile POMAX 28, if the ambient and surface temperature is below +5°C or above +35°C, appropriate temperatures should be waited. Application should not be made in extremely hot, rainy or windy weather.
- A proper moisture level is required to increase the performance of the adhesive mortar.
- Ceramics with high water absorption should be saturated with water before application.
- Water and new materials should never be added to the eile POMAX 28 Adhesive Mortar mixture that has started to dry.
- On very porous surfaces, ceramic application should be started after priming the surface with eile ASTAR E product.
- On shiny and slippery surfaces such as exposed concrete, eile POMAX 28 should be applied after applying eile TU05 or eile TU-06A primers.
- Tiles bonded with eile POMAX 28 should be avoided from contact with water for at least 24 hours.
- The joint application should be started at least 24 hours after the eile POMAX 28 application is completed.
