The application surface must be firm, flat and clean. The surface should be free from adherence reducing agents. Before application, the surface must be moistened and saturated with water on hot and windy days.
The appropriate amount of water is poured into the clean container using a scale. POMEX SATIN PLASTER is added slowly. It is mixed with a low speed mixer for 3-5 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. It is left to rest for about 5 minutes, after mixing for 20-30 seconds, the material is ready for use.

The prepared homogeneous mixture should be applied on the entire surface using a steel trowel in equal thickness. If more than one coat will be applied, there should be a minimum of 2 hours between the coats. The maximum thickness should be 3 mm. When the applied plaster starts to harden, it must be polished and finished. After the plaster surface is completely dry, the surface is sanded and made ready for surface paint application.
- In the application of POMEX SATIN PLASTER , if the ambient temperature is below +5°C or above +30°C, then it must be waited for the appropriate temperatures. Application should not be performed in extremely hot, rainy or windy weathers.
- POMEX SATIN PLASTER application thickness should not exceed 3 mm.
- Water and new material should not be added into the scabby POMEX SATIN PLASTER mixture.
- The prepared mixture must be consumed within 2 hours at 20°C.
- The POMEX SATIN PLASTER applied surface should be protected from sun and wind for 24 hours. The surface should be moistened 6 hours after the application. The surface should be moistened every 6 hours for 2 days.
