The application surface should be solid, smooth and free from adherence. On highly absorbent surfaces, the risk of premature drying and spillage of the filling mortar should be eliminated. Before application, the surface must be moistened and saturated with water in very hot and windy weathers.
The appropriate amount of water is poured into the clean mixing bowl using a scale. Pomex sealant is slowly added into the mixing container. It is mixed with a low speed mixer for 3-5 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. The material, which is rested for 5-10 minutes, is mixed again for about 30 seconds and becomes ready for use.

The material ready for application should be applied on the surface by using a trowel in equal thickness. Application thickness should not exceed 5 mm in one layer. It can be applied in a total of 2 layers in a thickness of 10 mm. Especially in applications in hot or windy environments, rapid water loss of the plaster for 24-48 hours should be prevented with curing material.
- If the ambient temperature is below +5°C or above +30°C, then it must be waited for the appropriate temperatures. Application should not be performed in extremely hot, rainy or windy weather.
- Application thickness should not exceed 5 mm in one layer.
- Water and new material should not be added into the mixture which begins to set in the container.
- It should not be applied on substrates which are frozen, melting or have the risk of frost within 24 hours.
- The prepared mixture must be consumed within 60 minutes at 20°C.
