The application surface must be free from mould oils, solid and clean. The application surface must be moistened and saturated with water on hot and windy days.
The appropriate amount of water is added to the mixing bucket and 25 kg of Pomex exposed concrete plaster mortar is slowly added. It is mixed using a low speed mixer for 3 to 5 minutes until a homogenous mixture is obtained. The mixture is left to age in the mixing bucket for 5 minutes. The material is then mixed again for 20-30 seconds and is then ready for application.

Pomex Exposed Concrete Plaster Mortar, which is made ready for application, is applied to the surface using a steel trowel in equal thickness. When applying more than one layer, wait at least 6 hours between layers and moisten the surface before applying the next layer. After application, the area should be watered for 2 days. Single layer application thickness of Pomex Exposed Concrete Thick Plaster should be max 2 cm. Application thickness of Pomex Exposed Concrete Thin Plaster should be max 3-4 mm.
- When applying Pomex Exposed Concrete Plaster Mortar, it is necessary to wait until the appropriate temperatures are reached when the ambient temperature is below +5°C or above +30°C. Application should not be performed in extremely hot, rainy or windy weather.
- It should not be applied on surfaces which are frozen, melting or have the risk of frost within 24 hours.
- Eile TU-05 should be used to increase adherence to the exposed concrete surface.
- Water and new material should not be added to a mixture that has begun to dry.
- Not applicable on plaster, old painted surface, aerated concrete.
