The application surface should be cleaned from dust, oil and loose parts which may reduce adherence. The surface should be humidified before application in order to provide better adherence and improve operating time. Before application, there is no free water on the surface.
20 kg POMEX HORASAN MORTAR; 4,0 – 4,5 liters of water is added into slowly. It’s mixed with at low speed mechanical mixer until a homogenous appearance is provided. The material is allowed to stand for 5-10 minutes. Then it’s mixed for 30 seconds again and it’s ready to use.
Karışım Oranı: For 20 kg sack: 4-4,5 l water, For 1 kg powder product: 0,200-0,225 l water, Mixture density: 1,9-2,0 kg/liter
The plaster mortar can be applied with thickness of 1-2 cm. After the plaster is applied, water is sprinkled over plaster surface. It’s completed with steel trowel. If the application is done more than one, each coating should be done with thickness of 1-2 cm before previous coat gets hardened. Before new coat is applied, previous coat should be humidified.
- If the temperature of application surface and application ambient is lower than +5 ˚C or over +30 ˚C, no application should be done. If the temperatures are not appropriate, wait for recommended values.
- No application is done in frozen, melting and very windy ambient.
- The application surface should be protected from sun, wind, rain or frost danger for the first 24-48 hours.
