The application surface is cleaned from dust, oil, paint and stains. The loose parts are removed mechanically until they reaches durable floor. The very porous surfaces should be waterlogged in hot or windy weather. There should be no uncontrolled water on the surface. The laths that would determine the thickness of applied POMEX THERMOMEX SCREED are fixed on the walls with the proper intervals to form the plaster strips.
POMEX THERMOMEX SCREED is slowly added into the necessary amount of water in a mixing bowl. A homogeneous mixture is prepared by mixing it with a low speed mixer for 4 - 5 minutes. The mixture waits for 5 minutes before being mixed for another 20-30 seconds.

The prepared POMEX THERMOMEX SCREED is applied among the laths using a steel trowel or plaster pump; and then is finished. When the pre-draining is over, the plaster strips are removed and filled with POMEX THERMOMEX SCREED. If the product starts to set due to delays, it should be mixed for a few minutes.
- For POMEX THERMOMEX SCREED application, if the ambient temperature is below +5°C or above +30°C, the suitable conditions should be met. Extremely hot, rainy or windy weather is not suitable for application.
- The material should be applied minimum 3 cm. The drying material should not be mixed with water and new material.
- The applications to be made on POMEX THERMOMEX SCREED should start at least 3 days later.
- Before the applications to be made on POMEX THERMOMEX SCREED such as leveling screed, ceramics etc. the water absorbance of the surface should be checked using eile COAT E. If required, eile COAT E should be applied as two layers.
- The whole 25 kg package of POMEX THERMOMEX SCREED should be used for the mixture.
