The application ground must be free from dust, oil and loose parts that will reduce adherence. Surface defects should be repaired with eile TH 60 or eile TH 70. Before application, the surface should be moistened with clean water and wait until there is no more water layer on the surface. Undercoating: Before applying eile DS 40 ACRYL on cement-based plaster, eile PRIME PLUS should be applied. When applying the undercoat, make sure that it is evenly distributed on the surface. eile DS 40 ACRYL application is started 12 hours after primer application.
eile DS 40 ACRYL is ready to use. However, it is recommended to mix with a low speed mixer before use. The mixed material is applied with a steel trowel in the thickness of the particle size contained in the product. The evenly applied surface of eile DS 40 ACRYL should be textured within 10-15 minutes. Using a plastic trowel, a texture is applied in circular motions. The material should be applied continuously up to the joint ends or detail corners.
- Do not apply to surfaces that are frozen, melting or where there is a risk of rain or frost within 24 hours.
- The applied material should be protected from rain and frost events for the first 24 hours.
- If the surface and ambient temperature to which eile DS 40 ACRYL will be applied is below +5°C or above +30°C, for application; it must be waited for the appropriate temperatures.
